The company ALATAS FILMS was founded in 2011 by Konstantinos Alatas and functions as a production company and distributor of cinematic films, continuing in the very successful career path paved by VA FILMS of Vassilis Alatas for the last 45 years. The company’s film library is currently comprised of 300 Greek film titles and has produced and continues to consistently produce 2 cinematic films on average a year, of which the majority have won production awards at Greek film festivals. In the world of cinema and video the company collaborates with a number of film, video and DVD distribution companies. In the Greek television broadcasting industry Konstantinos Alatas is regarded as one of the most important distributors due to his very large collection of films, resulting in his collaboration with all the major public and private television stations of Greece and Cyprus.
