This live talk, organized by the Hellenic Film Commission of the Greek Film Centre, was an in-depth look at Greece restarting filming after the pandemic and the government announcement on the rise of the cash rebate (from 35% to 40%). Speaking to leading industry experts, we discussed how the country has opened up to domestic and international productions and what it has to offer in terms of locations, quality of crew and infrastructure. We focused on the first production, a greek TV series, which started shootings in May, two international productions shooting in Greece in June and July, as well as the worldwide current success of a UK TV series which was filmed in Greece a year ago.
